![]() ![]() iGP11: Dark Souls 3 is definitely one of the best looking From Software games, but, as modders will tell you, there is always some room for improvement.Perfect for newcomers who need to challenge to be cut down a little. These two rings will grant players things like more HP, more souls gained per kill, and even HP and mana regeneration. Basically, it changes the stats of two different items in the game: the Life Ring and Covetous Silver Serpent Ring. Comfort Mod: This mod may seem blasphemous to the majority of hardcore Dark Souls players, but it makes the game much easier for those who are having loads of trouble with it.Personally, I don't like certain things in DS2 and the reason I bought it is for PvP. However, I'm just trying to enjoy the game in the way I want. Actually, if they implemented that type of control on a multiplayer character, it seems a huge amount of work, and we all know what type of carefulness Bandai Namco put on their games (cough coguh *DS1 port* cough cough). I'll keep that in mind, although Dodge and clearly_not logic seems to be valid. So, according to your info, there are certain types of control (like the unobtainable item before a checkpoint). Editing your files in any shape or form is generally a bad idea if your goal is to not get softbanned. People I personally know have been softbanned for reallocating stats through CE offline (akin to using a Soul Vessel, they didn't add or remove the total number of stats, same number), went online and they were promptly softbanned within a week. I've seen people be softbanned for CE'ing in legitmate weapons early game that are only obtainable after certain checkpoints in the game. It checks your files for ANY discrepancies. ![]() Originally posted by Dodge:Utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥The only part you got right in that entire paragraph was that reporting people doesn't do jack and it checks your files. Or that they didn't include some algorythm that recognizes when you get an illegal number of souls (for example, if you add 134,487 souls: no enemy leaves that number when defeated). Interestingly, it seems (according to the informations you have) that they don't run checkups on, for example, an item you find in a particular area and the bonfires you've discovered. Very interesting also your reply, I was expecting something like that (the impossible items/SL and stats discrepancies) but I was afraid to mess with Steam et cetera and I didn't do the classic "trial and error" I do when using these programs. Yeah, clearly_not (very kindly) explained the process to me and the various risks. Obviously if you use CE in Steam Offline mode and leave no evidence you won't get Softbanned, but there's always the chance that you are careless and get Softbanned. ![]() Eleum Loyce +10, Mundane Binoculars, special skin weapons etc.) Bandai Namco runs a game check when you are playing online that essentially looks to see if you are running a legit version of the game at that specific point in time (it checks the install and Save file and looks for any discrepancies) I am not sure when it runs (it's probably intermittently at Random Intervals and on Startup), it cannot detect if you have used CE in the past if you haven't left any evidence. Valve and From don't care if you cheat in DS2, reporting people for hacking doesn't do ♥♥♥♥.
